About S Kulkarni – LIC Agent in Kharadi

I'm S Kulkarni, an LIC agent working from Prospero Building on Eon Free Zone Road, Kharadi. My work is simple to describe: help people choose LIC plans that genuinely fit their family and budget, and then stay reachable for the many years those policies run.

What I help with

  • Life, term and whole life cover for families
  • Children's education and future planning
  • Pension, annuity and retirement income
  • Existing policy review and servicing guidance

Personal LIC Consultation, Not a Sales Script

Most people who contact me already know they "should do something" about insurance. What they don't have is the time to sit through brochures, or confidence that the person explaining them is looking at their situation rather than a target. So the first conversation is never about a plan. It's about you – your family, your income, your loans and what you're trying to protect or build.

Only after that do we look at LIC options, usually two or three of them side by side. I explain what each one does, what it costs, how long you'd be paying, what happens if you stop paying, and what the policy document actually says about benefits. If a plan isn't right for you, I'd rather say so than sell it.

Life insurance and family protection

For a working person, the first question is whether the family could manage if the income stopped. We work out a sensible cover amount from your real numbers – household expenses, home loan, children's goals – and then choose between term cover, savings-oriented plans, or a mix. Details are on the life insurance page.

Retirement and pension planning

For people in their 40s and 50s, and for parents who have just retired, the conversation shifts to income. How big a corpus is needed? How much of it should become a guaranteed pension, and how much should stay flexible? I explain LIC's pension and annuity options carefully, because annuity choices in particular are usually permanent.

Help with policies you already have

A large part of my work is with existing policyholders – many of whom bought their policies through an agent in another town before moving to Pune. I help them understand what they hold and guide them on premiums, nominee updates, revival of lapsed policies, policy loans, maturity and claims. Requests that need LIC's approval are processed by LIC, and I make sure you know exactly how to submit them. See policy service for more.

Who usually gets in touch

Professionals working at EON Free Zone, EON IT Park and other offices in Kharadi; families in Tulaja Bhawani Nagar, Chandan Nagar, Keshav Nagar, Mundhwa, Viman Nagar and Wagholi; senior citizens planning their income; and NRIs whose parents or property are in Pune. The first discussion can happen on the phone or WhatsApp, and we meet in person when it's useful.

Being clear about who I am: I am an individual LIC agent. This is my own website, not the official website of Life Insurance Corporation of India. Plan details, premiums and benefits are as per LIC's terms and conditions, and policy issuance and claims are decided by LIC.
